You never have to worry about feeling guilty for sitting in another stylist's chair at Alkali. Our guests are always our top priority. We don’t compete and we don’t bad mouth other peers in the community.
Artistry
At Alkali we're committed to keeping our skills sharp and staying up-to-date on current beauty trends by prioritizing continuing education. Our stylists and support staff receive frequent opportunities to increase their skills and overall beauty knowledge.
Guest Experience
We acknowledge that an elevated guest experience is in the details and that consistency is key. We push ourselves to improve every aspect of the salon experience by adding premium touches wherever possible. Each Alkali team member signs an agreement to execute operations and procedures consistently so that you have the same comforting, first-in-class experience regardless of who you interact with during your visit.

Alkali is committed to helping marginalized guests in our community. We provide genderless services and do our best to accommodate guests with different religious vows. We're committed to being carbon neutral and passionate about preserving the environment. We recycle and repurpose up to 95% of our salon's waste, including hair clippings, foils, and excess chemicals.

At Alkali, every haircut you get contributes to a greener earth or a humanitarian effort!
From pet beds at animal rescues and pillows for those in need to the creation of renewable energy sources and cleaning up oil spills—we make sure your beauty investment also has a meaningful investment. With the help of Green Circle, any hair clippings unsuitable for donation, such as dry, damaged, and chemically-treated hair, or hair that's too short for use, is responsibly recycled and put to good use.
