Krista was born in Newport New, Virginia, but grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She made Winston-Salem her home in 2008, and has been here ever since. Krista was drawn to the beauty industry due to her strong desire for a profession that let her help others feel beautiful and confident.

With 16 years of experience, Krista brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and creativity to her craft. She’s trained with Matrix, Well, and Aveda, and is passionate about continually evolving her craft.

Krista’s favorite techniques and services are pixie cuts, highlighting, and crafting the perfect lived-in color. When it comes to hair products, her favorite is Oribe Royal Blowout because it provides the perfect foundation for a salon-quality blowout at home.

While she loves pixie cuts on herself and clients, the worst hairstyle Krista ever had was a shotgun-blast pixie back in the early 2000s. It just wasn’t the look for her. Her favorite, on the other hand, is a properly textured pixie cut.

When it comes to hair emergencies, Krista’s swooped in to save the day on numerous occasions, but her biggest save was fixing an at-home blonding and haircut gone wrong.

If she could give any celebrity a makeover, she’d pick Kim or Khloe Kardashian. She’d love the chance to be able to do their color properly so that their hair doesn’t fall out!
