Becca is from Walnut Cove, North Carolina and has lived in the Piedmont Triad area for 28 years. Before entering the skin care business, she worked as an anesthesia technician for a plastic surgeon. It was this plastic surgeon who guided Becca toward esthetics technology. She immediately fell in love with skin care and began training in esthetics.

Upon finishing school, she spent a little over a year working for a spa in Greensboro. Wanting to work closer to home, Becca started working for a spa in Winston Salem as a full-time wax professional. After three years, she started to miss doing skin services and not using her license to its fullest, which led her to her new home at Alkali.

Becca’s favorite service is a Hydrafacial because the glow afterward is unmatched! Her favorite skin care product is Environ Malachite Serience Night Serum for its amazing ability to reduce the appearance of muscle tension.

When it comes to professional skin tools, Becca wishes every client would invest in a microneedling roller, which would help improve their skin between visits and allow for better product penetration of home skin care products and those used during professional treatments.

One of her biggest skin challenges she’s helped a client solve is correcting a client’s perioral dermatitis, which wasn’t responding to medications. Becca achieved this by helping her client strengthen her natural skin barrier with proper products and application, and through selective treatments. Becca’s own personal skin struggle is with eczema, which requires meticulous skin care to keep in check.

Becca loves conversation and is passionate about helping people. She gives her all to every service, big or small, and pays attention to even the smallest details to ensure her clients get optimal results.

When she’s not making your skin look gorgeous, she enjoys being active, lifting weights, and painting and drawing.
